Yoga Instructor
Steph Marie B.
My name is Steph Marie and I love yoga. I love teaching. I love practicing. I love a slow flow and I love to get things moving.
I am a straight forward teacher and human. I am the same human whether the mic is on or off. Some people love this about me and some people don’t ha! But I’m ok with it either way because I love this about me and I’m the only one stuck with me!
I am a huge fan of integrity, authenticity and soul connections because in my mind, everything else is a waste of time…mine and yours.
Our time here on planet Earth is short and my hope in teaching yoga is to inspire others to live a life of integrity, authenticity and intention!!

Yoga Instructor
Tracy D.
I was born and raised in the Sacramento area. Took my first class in 2004 at Bikram Yoga Granite Bay and attended Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in summer 2012. Initially, I was introduced to the yoga because I was visiting both sides of my family for the holidays. On the same day, by two different hugs on either side of the family, my aunt AND my cousin felt firm and toned when I hugged them. I asked them what they were doing to get fit. They both responded with "Hot Yoga". I took my first class a few months later. When I took my first class, to physically benefit, I had no idea the yoga would transform who I was from the inside out. I practiced through many of lifes hardships and taught throughout the hardest challenges of my life. I traveled to Europe and across the United States teaching in almost 30 studios. After over 20 years since my first class, I can say this yoga has changed my life for the better more than anything else has. I recently returned home and am here to stay.

Yoga Instructor
Bobby F.
Bobby completed Bikram Yoga Teacher Training (BYTT) in Thailand Spring 2025. After teacher training he moved to Folsom to help take care of his 90 year old Mom, teach and practice yoga, be closer to the Sierra mountains where he loves to backpack and mountain climb, and continue his life path.
Message from Bobby to beginner yogis:
The practice of Bikram Yoga at 105F and 40% humidity is a difficult experience to endure. If you make the practice a habit the benefits to your body and mind over time will be remarkable. Always be patient with yourself. The goal of your first class is to simply stay in the room. It will take time for your body to adjust to the heat and humidity. You do nose breathing during the 26 asanas and mouth and nose breathing during the 2 breathing exercises - the teacher will explain. If you can't maintain nose breathing, then you simply slow down and rest or go into savasana. Bring a yoga mat, yoga towel to cover the mat, and 1 liter bottle of electrolyte water. I will enjoy talking to you any time before or after class about Bikram Yoga and your experience.

Yoga Instructor
Christina F.
Movement has always been a central part of my life. Growing up dancing, I discovered the power of expressing myself through intentional movement.
Life has taken me on some very wild rides, and when I found yoga in my early 20s, I knew it would become an integral part of my path. The connection of breath to movement, body to spirit, and the pursuit of inner peace have been transformative for me—yoga has truly saved me. It’s my passion to share this practice with others.
I’ve completed two 200-hour teacher trainings, along with several shorter certifications in movement. I’ve been teaching for nearly four years now and it is my favorite thing, ever.

Beyond the studio, I find joy in connecting with nature—whether I'm hiking along scenic trails, camping beneath the stars, or capturing moments through my lens. I’m also an avid reader, always seeking books that spark inspiration, growth, and creativity. Traveling holds a special place in my heart, too. Whenever I get the chance, I love immersing myself in new cultures, meeting people from all walks of life, and exploring unique cuisines. These experiences continuously fuel my sense of adventure and enrich both my personal and professional journey.

As a Registered Nurse with a lifelong passion for health and fitness, I’m thrilled to be joining forces with my sister to open Hot Sisters Yoga, where we can share our love for wellness with the Granite Bay community. My journey with yoga began over 15 years ago when I was first introduced to the dynamic and energizing Vinyasa style. I was immediately captivated by the physical challenge it presented, as well as the mental discipline and clarity it fostered.
Recently, I completed my 200-hour Vinyasa teacher training, solidifying my commitment to this practice and deepening my knowledge. At Sisters Yoga, I’m excited to help others discover the transformative power of yoga—whether it’s building physical strength, improving flexibility, or finding mental peace.
My background as a nurse has given me a unique understanding of the human body and the importance of holistic health. This perspective informs my teaching, ensuring that our studio is a safe, welcoming space for all levels of practitioners. I can’t wait to embark on this journey with you and help our community grow stronger, both physically and mentally, through the practice of yoga.

Yoga Instructor
Dennis O.
I started my yoga journey in 2010. After lower back pain from two decades in law enforcement and the military. I found myself sitting on my bathtub edge to lace up my boots before duty because I couldn’t reach them standing. My wife and I started going to hot yoga and it didn’t take long before I was feeling better. Less than a year later I completed my first marathon and could then and now touch my toes again with my legs locked.
My practice has been very important to me over the years and I have learned a great deal more about yoga, not just the asanas but the practice. During my law enforcement career, I was able to expose several hundred academy cadets to yoga for a team building exercise and to plant a seed for later in life if they found themselves in need of yoga. Learning to breath in stressful situations and having the ability to remain calm in chaos are just a couple of important tools that I attribute to my practice.
After encouragement from my wife and close friends I attended the 200-hour Teacher Training in January 2021. My hope as a yoga teacher is to expose many more individuals to the amazing practice of yoga and to help those that are already regular practitioners, to continue their own journeys.

Yoga Instructor
Julia P.
Hi, I’m Julia - a yoga teacher passionate about blending strength, mindfulness, and breath into every practice. I currently teach Yoga Sculpt Slow Flow and Yin classes offering students both the fire of a powerful workout and the calm of intentional movement.
In my Sculpt classes, you’ll find energizing flows that combine yoga, strength training, and cardio-always grounded in the breath to help you stay present through the challenge. In Slow Flow, I guide students into deeper awareness, encouraging mindful transitions, intentional breathing, and a chance to truly reconnect with body and mind.
For me, yoga is about more than movement - it’s about creating balance. My goal is to hold space where you can build physical strength, quiet the mind, and leave feeling both grounded and empowered.

Fitness has always been a huge part of my life — not just physically, but mentally. It’s my outlet, my reset button, and something I truly couldn’t live without. I’m so grateful to be part of the incredible community at Hot Sisters, where I get to teach, inspire, and connect with others who share the same love for movement.
As a mom of three energetic boys, life is always busy, but teaching gives me the space to show up for me. It’s where I find balance, strength, and a reminder of what I’m capable of. That’s exactly what I hope to bring to each class: a challenge that pushes you, surprises you, and helps you see just how strong you really are — inside and out.
While I love the heat and how it helps you dig a little deeper, what I really love is the way fitness can empower you in all areas of life. I hope you'll come take my class, I’d love to meet you and move with you soon.
